MONTPELLIER
People of Kurdistan led by the Montpellier Democratic Kurdish Society Center (DKSC) gathered at Peyrou Park in Montpellier, France to protest the Turkish state's siege and attacks on Nusaybin's villages. Protestors chanted the slogan of 'Murderer Erdoğan' and distributed pamphlets on the Turkish state's massacres in North Kurdistan. DKSC Co-president Cevat Güneş addressed the protestors that marched from Peyrou Park to Comedie Square, and said "The fascist Turkish state has intensified its oppression and attacks on Kurdish people in North Kurdistan as we enter the referendum process. Dictator Erdoğan cannot make Kurdish people give up on their righteous demands with his oppression and massacres. We condemn the violent attacks on the villages of Nusaybin. We say 'No' to the attacks, oppression, and cruelty of the AKP and Erdoğan.
LINZ
People of Kurdistan came together in Linz, Upper Austria to protest the cruelty and attacks targeting the people of Nusaybin. DKSC Linz, Wels Mesapotamia Association, Wels and Linz Alevi associations, Pir Sultan Abdal Association, DİDF, Umut Culture Association and ADHF members participated in the protest. After a moment of silence, DKSC Co-president Zeynep Sarıbal addressed the protestors when drew attention to the massacres in Nusaybin and called for a joint struggle against Erdoğan's fascism. Özgür Taş also spoke during the protest and evaluated the upcoming referendum. Protestors chanted slogans condemning fascism and distributed pamphlets on the massacres carried out by Erdoğan and the AKP government.
BONN
People of Kurdistan came together in Kaiserplatz, Bonn, Germany to protest the massacres in and around Xerabê Bava village, hold a rally and distribute pamphlets on these massacres. Sara Women's Assembly Ayda Ekmez Kılıç addressed the participants of the rally co-organized by Sara Women's Assembly and PYD-Bonn. Kılıç said that the world is staying silent in the face of the Turkish state's massacres in Kurdistan, but this silence would only end with the protests and efforts of people of Kurdistan living in Europe. Kılıç said “We are the eyes and ears of our villages and cities under blockade and attacks. We have this responsibility and we should enhance our struggle.”
Celal Afrin spoke on behalf of PYD-Bonn and said that the Turkish state has been aiming to put all Kurds through a massacre. Afrin said that the massacre at Nusaybin's Xerabê Bava village is the most recent example of this policy, and said “How can a village be besieged for ten days? Why would young and old people be tortured? Why would people be depraved from their basic needs? This state only feels enmity towards Kurdish people. Then, we the people of Kurdistan are obliged to enhance our resistance against this hate and enmity everywhere.”
Protestors carried posters of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, images of Xerabê Bava massacre and chanted slogans such as 'Murderer Erdoğan', 'Baby Killer Erdoğan' and 'Turkish Army Get Out of Kurdistan.'
