The event started with a minute silence to pay tribute to the martyrs of freedom. Ey Raqip anthem was then played.

Yasin Tarbouch, responsible for Cyprus PYD, talked about the party and its 16th anniversary.

After the speech, Koma Çanda Theophilos performed Kurdish songs together with Kurdish artists İsmail Eker and Bave Idris.
