Mr. Salih Muslim, Co-president of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) has arrived in Stockholm in order to hold meetings with representatives of political parties and organizations. He held his first meeting
with Mr Per Jönsson(The Swedish Institute of International Affairs). During the meeting Mr. Jönsson expressed his admiration for the democratic experiment in the Kurdish region and the improvements which took place during the recent events in Syria and looked forward to visit the Kurdish region soon.
During the meeting the initiative of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan was mentioned and Mr.Muslim and expressed the full support of his party for this initiative. Mr.Muslim will be attending more meetings during his stay in Sweden with governmental organization and political Swedish parties.
