A-13 member delegation from the Democratic Union Party (PYD), who live in Ulm, Germany, has visited participants of the vigil demanding the freedom of the Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, which continues in Strasbourg, France on its 236th week. The visit was paid on occasion of the new year.

Women from the European Kurdish Women’s Movement (TJK-E), who have taken over the vigil earlier this week, welcomed the PYD members who carried a banner reading “Happy New Year To Our Leader”.

In a statement here, PYD members emphasized that the struggle for the freedom of the Kurdish people's leader will continue uninterrupted during the new year.
