Qamishlo People's Assembly has held a meeting for the evaluation of the works of the last six months and the planning of works for the coming period.

The meeting was attended by 300 members of the Qamishlo People's Assembly as well as representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations in the city.

Following the speech of Rojava Movement for Democratic Society (TEV-DEM) board of management member Henife Hisen who spoke about the political situation in the region, the meeting continued with the evaluation of reports of the General Assembly, the PYD (Democratic Union Party), Public Security, Court and the Committee of Economy Development. Attendees of the meeting agreed on the following points to be put into practice in the coming term;

1- Organization of an office to deal with workplaces and their annual contracts

2- Organization of emergency desks in the east and west parts of the city

3- Provision of vehicles for urban transportation

4- Establishment of a centre for environmental and urban cleaning

5- Paving of some roads in the city with asphalt

6- Building of a slaughter house outside the city

7- Establishment of a system for garbage collection

8- Construction of a city terminal

9- Establishment of village committees affiliated to the Assembly

10- Formation of procedures to prohibit the use of illegal electricity.
