14 people were quarantined as the outbreak of coronavirus hit a neighborhood in Artuklu, Mardin. One person died. A village and three neighborhoods in Sason, Batman were also quarantined.
In the borough of Kabala, Artuklu (Mardin), two young people aged 17 and 25 years old, were diagnosed with coronavirus.
Thereupon, 14 people in the same building were were quarantined. It was also reported that a 60-year-old person died in the neighborhood of Kabala.
Three neighborhoods in Sason (Batman) and the village of Altidere were also quarantined due to the outbreak.
Sason District Governorate said that the neighborhoods and village in question were put into quarantine and demanded that people to not leave the house for 14 days, otherwise compulsory quarantine will be imposed.
