A nationalist and racist group attacked a group of HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) youths involved in election campaign in the western province of Isparta.

The fascist assailants attacked the HDP group as they hanged HDP stickers on billboards and walls around the courthouse and police department in Fatih neighborhood.

The attack with sticks left a youth severely injured on the head and the back who was rushed to hospital afterwards.

The HDP youths who brought a complaint against the assailants were threatened by the police that they would be subject to legal action in the event of filing a complaint. The detained youths were therewith forced to accept the TL 208 pecuniary fine.
