İnönü University student Ömer E. was targeted by a racist group after leaving the class at campus yesterday evening.

Department of Mining Engineering student Ömer who was assaulted with knives and cleavers, sustaining a critical injury, was referred to Turgut Özal Private Training and Research Hospital for treatment.

After the racist attack against the young boy, executives of the DBP (Party of Democratic Regions) and HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) provincial organizations gathered outside the hospital where they were intervened by police forces.

The young boy targeted by the racist group remains at hospital.
