Raqqa Council continues work in the city infrastructure

After four years under DAESH infrastructure is almost non existent

Raqqa People's Municipality began to work to repair the sewerage nets damaged by the war.

The Raqqa Service Committee, with the help of the BIOMANT organization, began repairing the city sewer lines.  After completing the sewer repair work in one borough, the Council moved to others.

Raqqa People's Municipality co-president Ehmed Ibrahim said that they will continue their repair work in coordination with the municipal rebuilding committee.

The infrastructure of the city of Raqqa was one of the first to be hit by the mercenaries of DAESH in the long four years the city was in their hands.

The city was liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) led by the Kurdish YPG/YPJ last year.
