Special Forces of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have freed many civilians from the clutches of the ISIS gangs in Raqqa. An ISIS attack during the rescue operation left a civilian dead and many others injured.
In the Nazlat Shehadê neighbourhood south of Raqqa the SDF forces smashed the defence line of the ISIS gangs successfully and rescued a great number of civilians.
The ISIS gangs assaulted the civilians as the SDF was about to get them free and one civilian died, many others were wounded as result of the attack.
Fighters of the SDF managed to rescue around 2000 civilians in the last two weeks alone during the operations in the Nazlat Shehadê neighbourhood.
