Raqqan teacher: We are ready to educate children with free ideas

A teacher from Raqqa city assured to commit themselves to tackle the radical mentality planted in the heads of the children by ISIS gangs and they would even turn their homes into schools if necessary for the new school year.

Raqqan teacher Xidir Musa stated that Raqqa's teachers are prepared for the new school year.

Speaking to ANHA news agency, Musa said the children of Raqqa got their share from the ISIS terror, becoming witnesses of the inhumane and terrorist acts of the gangs, which has left a deep impact on them.

Musa pointed out that the children of Raqqa, whom ISIS tried hard to indoctrinate with their inhumane ideology, have long been deprived of the right to education. He said: “Despite all difficulties and lack of means, we are ready to educate Raqqa's children with free ideas in the new school year.”

Musa emphasized the importance of education and pointed out that no institution or organisation whatsoever has offered them the slightest support for education. He underlined that they are ready to turn their own homes into schools and provide classes to the children there if need be.

Musa called upon all the teachers of Raqqa city to fulfil their national, moral and humane duties, saying: "Teachers are the builders of countries and it is their task to educate the children."
