In a statement on Turkish warplanes activity in Media Defense Areas, People's Defense Forces Press Office HPG-BIM said that the Turkish army has increased reconnaissance flights in many areas of the guerrilla-controlled region in the last two days.

HPG-BIM stated that unmanned aerial vehicles of Turkish military carried out reconnaissance flights over the regions of Metina, Zap and Zagros on 9 December and over Kandil, Metina, Zap, Zagros and Gare in Media Defense Areas on 10 December.
