Refugees Camp hit by rain

Severe weather conditions and heavy rain hitting southern Kurdistan in recent days has caused floods and damages throughout the region. A calamity which hit Kurdish refugees most as their tents have been flooded by water. The camp affected was, as reported by Hawara News Agency, Camp Kourkosk made up of some 2,400 tents and housing refugees from Rojava.

The Arpett camp, near the city of Sulaymaniya, was affected but not as badly as the others.

South of Kurdistan is hosting many camps, housing refugees from Rojava. Winter is already making life of the refugees a misery.
