Remains of Vakkas Tümen delivered to his family 7 years after his death

The remains of Vakkas Tümen (Kawa Çekdar), who fell a martyr while resisting state terror between 2015 and 2016 in Nusaybin, were delivered to his family 7 years later his death.

Vakkas Tumen (Kawa Çekdar) fell as a martyr during the resistance against the siege by the Turkish state in Nusaybin, in the province of Mardin between 2015 and 2016.

Tumen was buried in the cemetery of the orphans in Amed.

The police called Tümen's family a short time ago and told them that they could have the remains.

The family then went to Amed to get Tümen's remains. The martyr will be buried in the Ayran Kısal neighbourhood of Birecek in Urfa.
