Rennes activists at Freedom for Öcalan Vigil call on everyone to speak out against Turkey's invasion

The Rennes group of activists who took over the Freedom for Öcalan Vigil, called on all those who favour democracy, equality and coexistence to speak out against isolation and war.

The Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan Initiative launched on 25 June 2012 in Strasbourg, to demand freedom for Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and to lift the isolation imposed on him continues.

Fırat Şah, Juliette Gall and Gökhan Laşer from Rennes took over the vigil in its 514th week. The activists condemned the Turkish state's invasion of the Medya Defense Areas in partnership with the KDP and saluted the historical resistance of the guerrillas.
