Rete Kurdistan urges Italian councils to defend Kurds’ rights
The Italian association has met with Bari’s mayor and asked councils to act in defence of the rights of Kurds.
Rete Kurdistan Puglia met on Thursday Bari’s mayor, Antonio De Caro, in his capacity as national President of Anci (Association of councils).
The mayor has been informed on the latest attacks against the Kurdish people and the violations of their rights.
Rete Kurdistan has expressed concern for the regime of isolation imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader, Abdullah Öcalan, and asked the President of Anci to take a stance on this and the violations against the Kurdish people.
