Rojava human rights delegation visits DTK
A delegation from Rojava including Dılxwin Ramadan Firousha, Xuhanav Ahmed Mohammed, Rojava human rights representatives Khalad Omer Seyfeddin, Abdulbaki Ahmed Mohammed, Abdulmacit A.Kerim and M.Ali has visited the Democratic Society Congress (DTK).
The delegation was met by DTK executive Edip Yaşar and assembly member Hasan Yağız.
At the meeting Rojava human rights representative Xuhanav Ahmed Mohammed said the biggest factors in the progress made by the Kurdish people in Rojava were hope, strength and decisiveness. Mohammed said that they were using a new system in Rojava, adding: “The women in Rojava have led the way in the implementation of this new system. Thanks to the Kurdish freedom struggle, women are now active in all spheres of life in Rojava."
DTK executive Edip Yaşar emphasised that the Kurdish people had created history with their resistance, adding that the struggle was an inspiration, saying: “The freedom spark in Rojava has now become a torch".
Yaşar continued, saying: “This system in Rojava is an example for the whole Middle East," adding that the Kurds would govern themselves by means of this model.
Hasan Yağız said: “We greet the people of Rojava. With the struggle there enlightened beautiful tomorrows await the Kurdish people."
