Rojava Solidarity in London: Westminster Bridge blocked

In London, activists have blocked Westminster Bridge and hung a huge banner against the Turkish invasion of northern Syria.

Hundreds of people gathered at the call of the Kurdish youth movement in Trafalgar Square in London to protest the Turkish war of invasion in northern Syria. The activists displayed flags of the YPG/YPJ and chanted "Turkish Army out of Rojava" and "Terrorist Erdoğan".

In a speech, the invasion and war crimes of Turkey were condemned and solidarity with the revolution of Rojava announced.

After the demonstration, the young activists blocked traffic on the busiest Westminster Bridge and hung up a huge banner reading "Stop the Turkish invasion of Northeast Syria!" as well as flags of the YPG and YPJ.
