In the operation to liberate Raqqa which has left two months behind, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have cleared as much as half of the city center, and rescued thousands of civilians so far.

During clashes ongoing since yesterday, the gangs were inflicted heavy blows in the neighborhoods of Nahda and al-Barid northwest of the city. The Karim neighbourhood was entirely cleared of ISIS and 11 gang members were killed.

In ongoing clashes in Rawda neighbourhood, SDF fighters repelled a group of gangs and 5 ISIS members were killed in the fighting here.

On the other hand, SDF fighters have rescued a large number of civilians in al-Diriyah neighbourhood Saturday morning, and transferred them to safe areas.
