A statement on Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) General Command’s website said that Manbij Military Council Commander General Adnan Abu Amjad fell a martyr during the operation to liberate Raqqa on August 29.

SDF General Command emphasised that MMC Commander Amjad will be avenged, pledging to walk on his path and follow the heroic martyrs until the realization of their dreams to defeat terrorism and achieve freedom for all components of Syria.
