Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Official Spokesperson Telal Silo described the ceasefire declared after the meeting between the United States and Russia as a result of international diplomatic efforts that would initiate a new process of political resolution to the Syrian problem. Silo expressed his hope that this ceasefire would be different than previous ones and yield better results.

Silo said that diplomatic efforts aim to establish a common ground for the start of the political process and deliver aid to the areas in Syria that are under siege. Silo declared that Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) would abide by the ceasefire reached after the meetings between the United States and Russia.

Lastly, Silo noted that they appreciated all efforts for the political resolution of the conflict in Syria.
