Sebahat Tuncel: We will build our life
Politician Sebahat Tuncel, who is in Sincan Women's Closed Prison, said that it is a historical responsibility to promote an egalitarian understanding against a sexist, nationalist and religious one.
Politician and former MP Sebahat Tuncel sent a message from Sincal Women's Closed Prison, through her lawyer.
Tuncel's message is as follows:
"Hello everyone,
Every election is important, we know that, but this election is of critical importance for Turkish politics and everyone should keep this in mind. Especially we socialists.
In this process, it is important to act as ‘we’, not ‘me’. We must not be ‘one’ but ‘many’. We must not polarize but unite. It is a historical responsibility for all of us to promote a libertarian and egalitarian understanding against a sexist, nationalist and religious understanding.
With only 40 days left until the elections, it is necessary to end the discussions and take action.
The HDP is ours, the Green Left Party is ours, ours are the EMEP and TYP! We will build a new life. I once again convey my best wishes to the Labor and Freedom Alliance. I believe we will win!
