The trial of 44 people, mainly journalists, continued today in Istanbul 15. High Criminal Court. The first hearing took place yesterday and saw protests and a press conference by BDP.

The court board ordered next trials to be held without audience and announced that those protesting against the board will be subjected to criminal complaint.

The journalists, who have been detained in December 2011 within the scope of the so called KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) operation, are being accused and charged for the news they wrote.
