Shengal People’s Assembly Foreign Relations Committee President Halef Ali and YBŞ Commander Sait Ömer arrived at Moscow for a series of meetings. After meeting with the representatives of the International Kurdish Social Institutions Union, Russia Kurdish Cultural and National Federal Autonomy, and Kurdish Women’s Movement in Russia, the committee began its official meetings.

The committee composed of Kurdish Êzidîs Congress in Russia representative Araf Azmani, Shengal People’s Assembly Foreign Relations Committee Chair Halef Ali, and YBŞ Commander Sait Ömer met with Deputy Foreign Minister Mihail Bogdanov, Center of Scientific and Analytical Information Platnikov Nikolay, and Middle East Institute Director and Politician Simyon Arkadeviç Bogdasarov.

The Shengal Committee mainly discussed the struggle Kurdish Êzidîs put up against ISIS gangs in Shengal, and the difficult situation of civilians in the region.
