Pülümür in the province of Dersim witnessed all shops closed and shutters down. The people are protesting against the ongoing military operations carried out by the Turkish Army. Shops did not opened in Þemdinli (province of Hakkari) as well today.

The people are protesting at the ongoing operations. Seven Kurdish guerrillas lost their life in recent clashes and were buried on Wednesday.

The funeral of Uður Utanç (Munzur Amed), Hakan Gem (Tekoþer Amed), Þeyhmuz Akak (Rizgar Amed) and Rojvan Serhat Baþalak (Canfeda Soro) was organized in Diyarbakir. The coffins of the guerrillas were accompanied by over hundred thousand mourners.
