Izmir TAY-DER (Tutuklu Aileleri ile Yardımlaşma ve Dayanışma Derneği, association of solidarity with prisoners' families ) has launched a signature campaign for ill prisoner Sevcan Atak. The association is asking authorities to release the prisoner.

Sevcan Atak is a journalist and she is not the only ill prisoner, underlined TAY-DER representatives.

Speaking on behalf of the association, Musa Karbadağ, underlined that the new process the country is undergoing should naturally enclose the release of ill prisoners. He added that there are some 400 prisoners with medical problems of various seriousness.
