A number of politicians, journalists and intellectuals started a sit-in act in front of the European Parliament in Brussels in solidarity with around a thousand Kurdish political prisoners on hunger strike since 12 September.

The sit-in is also joined by KONGRA GEL President Remzi Kartal and German Left Party MP Cansu Özdemir as well as many Kurdish residents in Brussels.
