Six young people, members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Izmir Youth Assembly, were taken into custody in the borough of Menemen in Izmiri on Wednesday evening.
The police stopped the vehicle four of the young activists, Uğur Yıldız, Mustafa Yalçın, Emre Yalçın and Harun Yakaç, were traveling in. Abdurrahim Kaymaz and Özkan Çakal were taken into custody in a raid on their workplace in Menemen.
The young activists were taken to the Izmir Provincial Security Directorate.
