Hundreds of people gathered in the Duisburg Efendi Hall to attend a solidarity event with the Green Left Party ahead of the elections to be held in Turkey and Bakur Kurdistan on 14 May.

The host of the night was Duisburg Democratic Kurdish Community Center member Mesut Avras and Green Left Party Election Coordination member Onur Güler.

The night saw the performances of artists Mehmet Aktaş, Devrim Kavalli, Seyda Perinçek and Koma Agirê Roj. KON-MED co-chair Zübeyde Zümrüt and politician Lezgin Botan gave speeches.
