Solidarity visits to Kurdish hunger strikers in Vienna

Kurdish hunger strike resistance against the isolation of Abdullah Ocalan continues growing throughout the world.

Two Kurdish activists, Sultan Yiğit and Şivan Ağaoğlu are on a hunger strike in Vienna to protest the isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The two activists started their hunger strike on February 1 in the Austrian capital.

In addition to the Kurds living in Vienna, Co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, Riyad Derar, also paid a visit to the hunger strikers yesterday.

Derar stated that the activists were righteous in their demands, and the isolation on Ocalan should be ended immediately.

“The [hunger strike] campaign will certainly succeed,” said Derar.
