HDP Hakkari deputy Leyla Guven has reached the 43rd day of her hunger strike to demand an end to the isolation regime imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

A solidarity action promoted by Rete Kurdistan Cosenza was held today at the University of Calabria, Italy, to support Leyla Guven and at the same time demand an end to Turkish bombings of South Kurdistan and Northern and Eastern Syria.

In the press release handed out during the solidarity action, activists condemned Turkey's repressive policies and attacks while at the same time denounced the silence of the international community.
