Solidarity with the hunger strikers in Copenhagen
An action was taken in Nytorv, one of the busy squares of Copenhagen to inform the people about the hunger strikes and the health situation of the hunger strikers.
A stand was opened by the Danish Kurdish Community Council, and leaflets explaining the reasons of the hunger strike were handed out. Activists also explained passers by about the regime of isolation imposed on Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The Danish Kurdish Community Council asid that these actions would be increased and called on people to join the protests to ensure the end of isolation.
