Soma (in the province of Manisa) has become sadly famous after the explosion that killed 301 mineworkers in 2014 at a coal mine owned by Soma Holding.

Workers said they will march for one kilometer for each one of the killed workers.

The march will start tomorrow, Saturday, and workers planned to reach Ankara in 10 days.

Unions said that workers have not been able to receive their seniority indemnity payments for the last five years.
