SPD’s Hessen State Group demands a detailed explanation on the police officer who was removed from duty for working for MİT. State MP Nancy Faeser issued a written statement in the name of the SPD Group and called on State Interior Minister Peter Beuth of the CDU.
SPD MP Faeser criticised the Interior Ministry’s silence in the face of the scandal and said: “The publicized allegations are more serious and important than the minister’s silence. There should be investigations into who the people in question had contact with.”
SPD, the main opposition party in the Hessen State Parliament, made the following call on the state government: “The Ministry of the Interior should know that it is unacceptable for officers in state institutions in Germany to be working with the Turkish intelligence.”
ANF published an article yesterday stating that the Turkish-German police chief was Döndü Yazgan.
