Gangs attacked the Hisham Abd Al-Malik neighborhood last night and the ensuing clashes between the gangs and the SDF fighters continued into the morning, when the attack was completely pushed back.

12 gang members were killed in the clashes and 1 mine-laden vehicle was destroyed. 4 SDF fighters were martyred and 3 others were wounded.

The clashes that broke out last night in old Raqqa between the fighters and the gangs still continue. 9 gang members have been killed up to date.

Clashes broke out in Al-Dariya neighborhood to the west of Raqqa late last night as well. In these clashes, 11 gang members were killed. The fighters downed 3 scouting planes that belonged to the gangs and confiscated one. In the clashes, 1 fighter was martyred and 3 others were wounded.

Clashes broke out in the early morning today to the north of Ratlah town as well. 3 gang members were killed in these clashes and 1 gang member’s body, 2 Kalashnikovs and 1 PKM machine gun were confiscated by the fighters.

Following intense clashes in the city center from last night into this morning, the fighters advanced further and took several strategic and important locations under control. The fighters are now in control of the Seyf Aldawla Road leading up to the historic mosque in the center of the city.

A total of 27 gang members have been killed since last night’s clashes started.

Another attack was foiled to the southeast of Raqqa this morning as a military vehicle with 10 gang members in it and another vehicle mounted with a DSHK gun were destroyed.
