In a written statement the Confederation of Patriot Kurdish Students in Efrîn has condemned the wall being built by the AKP government between Nusaybin and Qamişlo in west of Kurdistan.

In the statement the students remarked that the wall is part of a policy aimed to eliminate Kurdish people. The Turkish government, added the statement, tries to end the process for a peaceful solution to the Kurdish question initiated by Abdullah Öcalan.

The statement ends reminding the AKP government that neither building walls nor borders will damage the solidarity feeling and practice among Kurds.

The construction companies building the wall are kept secret and the municipality of Nusaybin is provided with no information about the wall being built.
