Suicide attack in Qamishlo leaves 7 dead and 22 wounded

At least seven people were killed and 22 others wounded as a result of a suicide attack in the Qamishlo city of West Kurdistan on Friday.

According to the initial reports, the suicide attack which targeted the pro-regime militia forces, Caş el-Şeebi, occurred after a bomb-laden car exploded in the al-Tai neighborhood in the afternoon.

Some of those wounded are reported to be in critical situation. The identities of the casualties remain unknown yet.

The region has been surrounded by regime forces after the explosion which caused heavy damage to the targeted headquarters of the militia forces and the buildings nearby.
