A panel was organised in Bordeaux with the participation of AvEG-Kon co-chair Şafak Arabacı, Kurdish politician Adem Uzun and HDP executive and Ankara MP candidate Orhan Celebi. The panel, held in the Alevi Culture Centre, was attended by over 100 people.

HDP’s European Election Committee member and AvEg-Kon co-chair Arabacı talked about the ongoing election work in Europe, while Adem Uzun said he strongly believes in the victory of the HDP. Önder Çelebi said HDP is the most discussed party at the moment as it has became the strongest opposition in the country and demonstrates a consistency between its words and actions.

AVIGNON

A community meeting was held in Avignon as well. HDP Montpellier representative Serdar Koç spoke at the meeting stressing that these elections will affect the whole Middle East as well as Turkey, adding that the democratic programme of the HDP will set an example for the Middle East.

In Nuremberg, a panel was organised with the participation of HDP Mardin MP candidate Mithat Sancar. Sancar drew attention to the democratic programme of the HDP based on equality in his speech, and said the minorities in Turkey for the first time will gain representation through the HDP. Sancar stressed that the HDP is a party of all the different communities in Turkey and added that it is the only political power that can prevent the AKP’s aim of introducing a presidential system.

MODENA

A community meeting was also organised in Modena, calling on Kurds, Turks, Syriacs, Alevi and Circassian people in the city to support and vote for the HDP at the upcoming elections.
