Workers of the Municipality of Sur, district of main Kurdish city Diyarbakır/Amed, have sent humanitarian aids to the people in Rojava, western Kurdistan.

In a statement on behalf of Sur Municipality workers, Mehmet Salih Gezen said they have formed a commission and launched the campaign in order to meet the needs of Rojava people. Gezen added that there has recently been a remarkable decrease in the aid campaigns for the people in western Kurdistan territory.

Gezen called on everyone to mobilize and support the campaign in solidarity with Rojava people who -he underlined-  will be facing more challenging living conditions in the coming winter months.
