Bodies of Serhat Devrim, Med Ali Barutçu and Mücahit Erol were greeted by a convoy of hundreds of vehicles in the Şenyayla neighborhood of Muş. Tens of thousands of civilians marched from Dörtyol Junction to the Municipality Square and the chants of solidarity with the massacred youth as well as Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan accompanied the march. DBP Co-President Emine Ayna and several HDP parliamentarians attended the march that ended in Taşo cemetery where there three martyrs were buried.

Tens of thousands of people joined the funeral in Van of Yunus Emre Şen who lost his life in Suruç massacre. Şen’s body was brought to the Yeni Mahalle Council of Van this morning and many of the funeral’s participants brought toys with them in order to commemorate Suruç martyrs. Signs of ‘martyrs don’t die’ and green-red-yellow banners accompanied Şen’s funeral.

Thousands of people attended the funeral ceremony of and bid farewell to Çağdaş Aydın in Dersim. Toys were left on Aydın’s coffin during the ceremony carried out in Dersim Cemevi in the city center. People carried Aydın’s coffin and marched to Seyit Rıza Square where several politicians and Aydın’s relatives gave speeches on Aydın’s struggle and martyrdom. After the speeches here, Aydın’s body was buried in his village Çaxberi (Güneykonak) located in the Ovacık district of Dersim.

ESP announced that the family of Suruç martyr Büşra Mete secretly held their daughter’s funeral in Pendik Cemetery last night due to police pressures on the family. Mete’s funeral was planned to be held in Karacaahmet Cemetery today.

Suruç martyr Koray Çapoğlu was buried by his family earlier this morning in the Yanıktaş village of Trabzon’s Of district. Family members greeted Çapoğlu’s body with HDP parliamentarians this morning but decided to allow nobody but family members to the funeral due to the pressures of police officers.

Suruç martyr Nazegül Boyraz, mother of 4 children, was laid to rest in Istanbul this afternoon. Thousands of people attended Boyraz’s funeral ceremony in Gülsuyu Cemevi located in the Gülsuyu neighborhood of Istanbul. Boyraz’s daughter Yasemin Boyraz spoke during the ceremony and emphasized that there was no need for crying since her mother died as she stepped into freedom. Mother Nazegül Boyraz was buried in Küçükyalı Cemetary after the funeral ceremony in Gülsuyu.

HDP Caucus member Ferdane Kılıç and her son Nartan Kılıç, who fell as martyrs in Suruç, are to be bid farewell by thousands of people in Bursa. Thousands of people carried the coffins of Ferdane and Nartan Kılıç to the City Square and marched from here to the house of Kılıç family. The bodies of the mother and son will be buried in Hamitler Cemetary after the funeral prayer in Şeyh Edabali Mosque which will be attended by HDP Co-President Selahattin Demirtaş and HDP parliamentarians Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Mithat Sancar.

ESP member Cemil Yıldız and his father, who both fell as martyrs during Suruç massacre, are to be bid farewell in İsmet Şeker Gazi Cemetery this afternoon. Police had earlier raided an ESP office and two houses today in order to intimidate Yıldız’s family, but thousands of people are flocking to Gazi neighborhood to join Yıldız’ funeral and support Yıldız’s family. Another Suruç martyr, HDP Maltepe Co-President Duygu Tuna, is also expected to be buried in Gazi neighborhood today.

Polen Ünlü and Hatice Ezgi Sadet, the two Suruç martyrs who were photographed holding hands in their last moments, are to be buried side by side in Çırçır Cemetary located in Ihlamurkuyu, İstanbul. Sadet’s funeral ceremony will be held in Ümraniye Cemevi and Ünlü’s ceremony will be held in Ensar Mosque. Families of the two martyrs decided to bury their children side by side in order to honor their memories.
