Switzerland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has updated their recommendation against travelling to Turkey.
The related statement of the Ministry called attention to the ongoing State of Emergency in Turkey, and warned against obstructions and arrests without a court order during their entrance into and leave from the Turkish state.
The Ministry said: “Those wanting to travel to Turkey should think carefully regarding the possibility of being treated as an enemy in Turkey.”
Remarking that dual citizens are facing a greater risk, the Foreign Ministry of Switzerland said these persons will not be able to benefit from the service of Consulate advocacy as Turkey will be ignoring and not acknowledging their Swiss citizenship.
