As the operation launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces on June 6 to liberate Raqqa reached the inner neighborhoods of the city, rescue of civilians held hostage as human shields by ISIS has accelerated.
7 civilians were removed from the clash zones through a corridor opened by the SDF fighters and were taken to safe zones by the Syriac Military Council fighters.
