Yusuf Iba continues his hunger strike in Toronto as his health remains critical. Syrian Democratic Council Americas Representative Sinem Muhammed paid Iba a visit.

Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) Americas Representative Sinem Muhammed paid a visit to Yusuf Iba who has been on an indefinite non-alternating hunger strike in Toronto, Canada for 106 days against the Imrali isolation. Muhammed said they support the hunger strikers’ demands and wished Iba success.

The indefinite non-alternating hunger strike launched by DTK Co-chair Leyla Guven to break the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan spread to thousands of people in a short while. Yusuf Iba, participating in the hunger strikes from Toronto, Canada, refused treatment in the hospital he was taken to last night and decided to continue his resistance.

Iba had been hospitalized last night for stenocardia and excessive shivering and has been spitting blood today.
