Military forces of the Syrian regime bombed the villages of Mezin and Ziyaret in Efrin's Şerava town Monday morning. At least one child, reportedly ten-year-old Vahit Ahmet, was killed and many other people were wounded in the aerial assault which is reportedly being followed by a land operation targeting the mentioned villages.

The wounded, reportedly numbering too many, couldn't be taken out of the village yet because of the bombardment.

The military is said to have mobilized for a land attack against the region involving the villages of Mezin, Göç Haze, Ziyaret, Akibê, Beradê, Kefernebu, Kınitre and Meyasi. Iranian paramilitary force Basij is also said to be taking part in the military forces moving towards the villages to attack.
