Taksim Solidarity platform has released a written statement in relation with Istanbul 1st Administrative Court's decision to cancel the Taksim pedestrianization project.

The platform called on people to gather at Gezi Park at 19:00 Saturday evening to protest the violence Gezi protestors were subject to and to remember those killed in protests across the country.

The platform said they would announce the court's verdict to the public and open the Gezi Park to its true owners Saturday evening.

"We are still standing together in all areas of life with all our values and colors, and a firm common sense, strength to resist and an incredible creativity", the platform said and pointed out that they have not given up their demands and will re-voice them at the demo on Saturday.
