17-year-old Ahmet Çetin Genç was hit by Turkish police officers on motorcycles at the Adliye Junction near the Şanlıurfa Trade Center (ŞUTİM) in the Haliliye district of Urfa on 31 December 2020.

Genç, who was traveling on a motorcycle with his friend Müslüm Koçoğlu, had been receiving treatment at the Mehmet Akif İnan State Hospital for 74 days after being hit by the police motorcycle.

Genç passed away yesterday despite all the medical attempts made to save him.

The young man was buried in the Haran Kapı Cemetery in Eyyübiye district after the religious obligations were fulfilled.
