Tens of detainments in Urfa, 4 arrests in Ankara

At least 29 people were detained and 4 people were arrested in Urfa and Ankara.

Political genocide operations of the AKP government continue as tens of people are detained and arrested.

Turkish police officers carried out house raids in Urfa city and district centers this morning. At least 29 people including DBP and HDP administrators and DBP municipal assembly members were detained during the raids. Below are the names of the people detained in Urfa, Hilvan and Suruç:

Mahmut Polat, Abdulkadir İnanç, Zozan Kılıç, Hüseyin Tangan, İbrahim Kurt, Ahmet İstek, Celal Babacan, DBP former co-presidents Mehmet Ali Sütpark and Emel Tüysüz, Fevzi Salim, DBP Pirsus District Administrator Hamit Bali, Pirsus Municipality worker Serkan Bali, İsmail Şahin, and İbrahim Yıldızer.

HDP District Administrator Sait Korkmaz, DBP municipal assembly members Ali Solak, Akıl Gülbeden and Salih Korkmaz, Ramazan Kızoğlu, Sefer Kengiş and Muzaffer Akçalı detained during the house raids in Siverek. İbrahim Öztürk, Nezir Özgezer, Şeyhmus İnan, Selim Vural and Münir Özgezer were detained in Viranşehir. Police officers raided the house of DBP district co-president Yusuf Yeşiltepe in Bireck but could not find Yeşiltepe in his house.

Former municipal assembly member Cüneyt Turgay, Kays Işık and Bari Mamu were detained in Ceylanpınar, and the number of detainments is expected to increase.

ANKARA 

4 of the 9 people that had been detained in Mamak, Tuzluçayır on August 15 suspected of "carrying out actions" and "being members of an organization" have been arrested. The names of the arrested people are Barış Arlı, Şafak Gül, Özgür Heval Koç and Mehmet Nuri Aslankan.
