Tent actions in Hanover and Stuttgart demand freedom for Öcalan
Tent actions were organized to protest the isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan in the German cities of Stuttgart and Hanover.
The tent action in Stuttgart began on Thursday, while the action in Hanover enters its third day.
A two-day tent action was launched in Stuttgart demanding the freedom of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan. The action, organized by DKTM, was held at Schlossplatz.
The action was joined by Kurdish people as well as their friends. A banner saying “End the war in Kurdistan” was on the ground while a big poster of the petition demanding freedom of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan was hung in the tent.
Activists said: "The war in Kurdistan will not end without the freedom of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and the world peace depends on this".
The tent action continued on Thursday in Hanover.
In the action organized by Hanover Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger, activists chanted slogans such as "Biji Serok Apo", "Jin, Jiyan, Azadi".
