The great will of the Great Battle

SDF fighters, engaging in a Great Battle against ISIS atrocities in Raqqa, are singing the songs of the war for humanity fought with great will. The following is a small excerpt from the Great Battle.

As the Great Battle launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces continues, SDF fighters of all ethnicities and faiths in Syria continue their advance in great morale.

On the 7th day of the Great War, having already cleared al-Mashlab, Sabahiya and al-Romania neighborhoods of the gangs, SDF fighters are walking an ever thinner line between “life and death for a free life”.

In footage released by the YPG Press Office, a group of fighters on their way to liberate Raqqa, where hundreds of thousands of civilians reside, are seen preparing for the operation in great morale.

One of the fighters preparing for the operation is singing, while a wounded fighter is carried to an ambulance.

A verse in the fighter’s song is, “O freedom, if my life falls short of you, history will tell you how much I love you”, showing the will behind the SDF’s battle for freedom.
