Thousands of people came together in front of the TRT building in Harbiye for the Armenian journalists and Agos Newspaper Chief Editor Hrant Dink on the 10th year anniversary of his murder. Protestors marched to the Agos building in Şişli, where Dink was murdered, as they chanted slogans such as “We have been Hrant for 10 years, we will earn justice” and “Long live people’s fraternity,” and carried signs that said “We won’t forgive, we won’t forget” and “We are all Hrant, we are all Armenian.” Police officers blockaded the march from Taksim Square to the TRT building and prevented protestors from carrying the "Murderer state will account for its crime."
Peoples’ Democratic Congress (HDK) Co-spokesperson Onur Hamzaoğlu, linguist Necmiye Alpay and the representatives of many non-governmental organizations, associations, political parties and unions participated in the march that ended in front of Agos Newspaper building. Protestors put up a “For 10 years, we have been missing you brother” sign on the building, where the commemoration ceremony for Hrant Dink continues.
